What is it?
When students join Green River, they will need to login for the first time using a temporary password, then set up their password reset and MFA methods.
When to use?
Any time a new student needs to login for the first time.
What to do?
1. Navigate to Office.com and click Sign-In, or to the log in prompt on a GRC device.
2. Enter your full E-Mail address in the E-Mail/Username prompt
3. Enter the default temporary password. The format is {CTCLINKID}{6-digit birthday}. For example, if the student's CTCLINK ID Is 8675309 and birthday is December 28th, 1963, initial password will be 8675309122863
4. Enter a new password and password confirmation.
5. Complete the MFA and SSPR registration process. MFA options include apps, text messages, phone calls, or hardware security tokens. SSPR options include all MFA options, and additionally Alternate E-Mails and Security Questions. See the Self Service Password Reset Methods Registration article for more details.
