What is the Company Portal?
The Company Portal lets employees and students in Green River college access and install approved applications and software. It is available on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. To access the portal you will need to be signed in with your work or school account.
Installing software
The Company Portal lets employees and students in Green River college access and install approved applications and software. It is available on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. To access the portal you will need to be signed in with your work or school account.

The application will open on the “Home”-tab. This shows an overview of recently published apps and devices. In the left menu you will see a menu bar with the following icons: Hamburger, Search, Home, Apps, Apps categories, Downloads & updates, Devices, Help & support, My Profile, and Settings. Click on the hamburger icon above Home to expend the menu descriptions. Click on Apps to display all available applications.

Click on the application you desire to install on your device. In this example, we will install Mozilla Firefox, an open-source browser.

You will see an overview and additional information about the application. In the top-right corner, you will the installation-button. Click on this button to start the installation process.

During the installation of the application, you will see a progress bar on above the application name. You can continue other tasks during installation.

Once the installation has finished, you will see the progress bar change into a blue checkmark displaying “Installed.” The application is now installed and managed by the Information Technology-team.
